Introduction to Food Safety Certification 

 

GroupGAP

GroupGAP is a cooperative approach to food safety certification developed by the USDA in collaboration with the Wallace Center (April 2016 release date). By creating and certifying a food safety system, the GroupGAP certification is designed to offer a timely, scale-neutral method for small farmers to better meet the challenges presented by large institutional markets and the changing climate of food safety regulation.
